National Service Scheme (NSS)
The National Service Scheme (NSS) at Sengunthar Arts and Science College plays a pivotal role in developing the personality of students through active participation in community service. The NSS unit encourages students to engage in a variety of social activities, promoting a sense of civic responsibility, volunteerism, and social involvement.

Activities
- Inside the College:
- Health Camps: Organizing health awareness and check-up camps for the campus and nearby communities
- Blood Donation Camps: Encouraging students to donate blood and save lives.
- Awareness Campaigns: Educating students and staff on various social issues, such as health, education, and environmental concerns
- College Day and other institutional events: Participation in and support for college-wide celebrations and activities.
- Outside the College:
- Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: Actively engaging in cleanliness drives and promoting sanitation and hygiene practices in the community.
- Tree Plantation: Taking part in environmental initiatives to promote greenery and sustainability.
- Health and Hygiene Awareness: Conducting workshops, seminars, and awareness programs on health, hygiene, and sanitation for local communities.
- Community Development Projects: Engaging in rural development programs, educational outreach, and skill development activities aimed at uplifting underprivileged communities.
